Oumar Niasse goals vs Bournemouth give Koeman some much needed respite

Senegalese striker Oumar Niasse gave under fire manager Ronald Koeman some much needed respite after his double gave Everton a come from behind win at Goodison Park against AFC Bournemouth.

Everton hadn’t won since the opening day of the season and given the investment that Everton had made in the beginning of the season on new players, it was heavily feared that Koeman would follow Frank de Boer out of the league should the Toffees have not beaten the Cherries.

But Niasse scored in the 78th and 82nd minutes against Eddie Howe’s side to give Everton three points, and more importantly, their first goals in the league since that 1-1 draw against Man City last month. Continue reading
