Thierry Henry had two assists to his name in his New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer debut as his side drew 2-2 with Houston Dynamo. Henry set up both of Juan Pablo Angel’s goals as the Bulls took the lead twice in the game, only to squander it on both occasions and end up on the losing side.
Angel’s goals were scored in the 10th and 58th minutes of the game.
The Australia vs Germany Group D World Cup 2010 game will be shot in 3D by Sony, world football’s governing body FIFA has announced. The game, likely to be sponsored by Sony Australia, will be available to view at cinemas across the country. It may also be shown live on air should one of the country’s broadcasters tie up a 3D coverage deal with FIFA.
The Australia-Germany fixture is one of 25 games that will be shot in 3D at this year’s quadrennial extravaganza.
Sony’s 3D television sets are set to hit stores in Australia in late June.
