Aston Villa skipper Stiliyan Petrov has made a plea to manager Martin O’Neill to stay at Villa Park next season. O’Neill is reportedly at odds with the club’s owner Randy Lerner and is said to be contemplating a move away from the Midlands outfit in the summer.
