Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his side has got what it requires to win the Premier League this season. The Gunners manager made the statement after his side survived a full half with ten men and beat West Ham United 2-0 on Saturday.
Denilson’s early goal put Arsenal ahead and Manuel Almunia saved Alessandro Diamanti’s spot kick after Thomas Vermaelen was sent off a foul on Guillermo Franco. Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas made it 2-0 in the second half from the spot after Matthew Upson was penalised for handball.
“We have a good chance to do it this year.”
“We want to win the trophy because we are all conscious we have won nothing yet. The hunger, the talent and I think the nerves are there.”
