The Ajax vs AZ Alkmaar Dutch Cup ( KNVB Beker) game was cancelled after AZ’s Costa Rican goalkeeper Esteban Alvarado kicked an Ajax fan who had invaded the pitch.

Much to the dismay of the AZ players, the referee red carded Esteban Alvarado, leading to AZ coach Verbeek asking his players to leave the field.
