Jamie Vardy to miss Man Utd game after ban

Jamie Vardy will miss Leicester City’s clash against Manchester United this weekend after an independent regulatory commission ruled that his behaviour was worth an additional one game ban. Leicester could potentially win the Premiership at Old Trafford on Sunday after Spurs slipped up at home against West Brom, and this means Vardy will not be present in what could be a historic day for the club.

Leicester are now seven points ahead of Spurs with three to play.

Vardy was sent off by Kevin Moss (second yellow) for his diving during his challenge with West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna. He was also fined £10,000.

Vardy will now only be available for Leicester’s home game against Everton next month (May 7)
