The group stages of Euro 2016 are done, and we now have sixteen teams that have qualified for the Round of 16- the top two finishers from each of the six groups and the four best third placed teams.
We started with 24 teams, and so here are the eight teams that missed out. Out of these eight, Ukraine were THE only team not to register a single point. Out of these eight teams, both Albania and Austria won their respective qualifying groups. Sweden and Ukraine qualified by winning their playoff games
Group A- Romania (finished last), Albania (sixth best third place team)
Group B- Russia (finished last)
Group C- Ukraine (finished last)
Group D- Czech Republic (finished last), Turkey (fifth best third place team)
Group E- Sweden (finished last)
Group F- Austria (finished last)
