Man City’s John Stones had a great game at the De Kuip against reigning Dutch champions Feyenoord earlier this evening.

The young defender finished with a 100% pass completion rate (96/96) and also had 5 clearances, 4 aerials won, 4 blocks, 2 shots and 1 interception. He also scored two of Man City’s four goals (the other two scored by their Argentine-Brazilian combination of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus) and had no fouls to his name!.

Stones also had a good game against Liverpool over the weekend (Man City won that game 5-0) and Pep Guardiola will certainly be pleased with the youngster’s progress. Tougher tests await him in the future, but he’s definitely showing signs that he can live up to his enormous potential
