I’m not becoming Rovers boss- Shearer
Legendary striker Alan Shearer has ruled out a return as manager to former club Blackburn Rovers.
Rovers, who are currently looking for a manager following the surprise sacking of Sam Allardyce by the club’s new Indian owners, have been linked with Shearer, Martin O’Neill and Diego Maradona amongst others.
However Shearer, commenting on the Beeb’s Match of the Day Programme on Saturday night, said that he was not going to take charge of affairs at Ewood Park.
